 SELOUS/NYERERE GAME RESERVE & ZANZIBAR

Day 1: Arrival Day

Upon arrival into Mwalimu Nyerere International Airport, you will be met and transferred to the hotel where you can relax and recover from your journey.
Accommodation: Hotel Slipway.
Meals: Breakfast and dinner.

Day 2: Dar es Salaam– Selous Game Reserve

In the morning you’ll be picked up from your hotel and driven to Selous Game Reserve arriving in time for a hot lunch. In the late afternoon you’ll go on a thrilling boat safari on the Rufiji River where you’ll see hippos and crocodiles in their natural habitat. Your guide will also be able to point out interesting birds and plant species during this trip.
Accommodation: Selous Kinga Lodge.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Day 3: Full Day Game Drive

After breakfast, you’ll have a full day of game viewing in Selous Game Reserve taking a packed lunch with you if you wish to maximize your game drive time. Selous Game Reserve is bigger than Switzerland and Denmark so it takes a long time to explore properly but your guide will know the best places to go. These will be special days spent exploring the wilderness in the biggest game reserve in Africa and viewing diverse wildlife which includes lion, giraffe, wildebeest, zebra, elephant, wild dog and so much more. You might even see the rare Sable antelope!

Day 4: Selous Game Reserve – Dar es Salaam – Zanzibar

After breakfast, check out from the lodge and travel back to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the port for your boat ride to Zanzibar. Upon arrival at Zanzibar, you will be picked up and transferred to the Z Hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 5: ZANZIBAR TOUR

After breakfast, depart for a tour of Stone Town. In the late afternoon, you will be transferred to the port for the boat ride to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Mwalimu
